Individual Psychotherapy

Exceeding expectations one client at a time.

This is where your new chapter begins.

At Lotus Healing and Wellness Center, individual therapy is a personalized and compassionate journey tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, we provide a safe and supportive space to help you heal and grow.

Our licensed therapists draw from a range of evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches including EMDR, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, somatic, and existential therapies. We work collaboratively with you to create a treatment plan that honors your lived experience and moves at your pace.

Therapy is a space where you can feel seen, heard, and validated. Our goal is to help you reconnect with your inner strength, build insight, and experience meaningful transformation.

Below are a list of some common therapy approached Lotus utilizes:

  1. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Identifies and changes unhelpful thinking patterns, beliefs, and behaviors.

  2. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Focuses on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.

  3. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): Used primarily for trauma by processing distressing memories through bilateral stimulation.

  4. Psychodynamic Therapy: Explores unconscious processes and how past experiences affect current behavior.

  5. Somatic Therapy: Connects the mind and body by working through trauma and stress stored in the body.

  6. Narrative Therapy: Helps clients re-author the stories they tell about themselves and their experiences.

  7. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT): Concentrates on finding solutions and building on client strengths rather than dwelling on problems.

  8. Mindfulness-Based Therapy: Incorporates mindfulness practices to increase present-moment awareness and reduce stress.

  9. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Encourages acceptance of thoughts/feelings and commitment to personal values.

  10. Internal Family Systems (IFS): Helps clients explore different “parts” of themselves and heal internal conflicts.

  11. Play Therapy (for children): Uses play to help children express feelings and resolve issues.

  12. Art or Expressive Arts Therapy: Uses creative expression as a therapeutic process to explore emotions and trauma.

  13. Exposure Therapy: Helps clients gradually confront and reduce fear or anxiety related to specific situations.

  14. Motivational Interviewing (MI): Enhances a client’s motivation to change by resolving ambivalence.
